New iPad Pro Models
Apple has redesigned its iPad Pro models, making them thinner, lighter and more powerful than ever. The new iPad Pros come with an edge-to-edge Liquid Retina display, Face ID technology, a USB-C port and contain a brand new A12X Bionic chip that will enable performance up to 35% higher and graphics 90% faster. The new Apple iPad Pros also support a new Apple Pencil that clips onto the device with magnets and charges wirelessly as well. The new iPad Pros are available in two sizes, 11-inch and 12.9-inch beginning at $799 and $999 respectively.
New MacBook Air
Apple has also updated the most loved Mac in the world, MacBook Air. The new MacBook Air comes with a stunning 13.3-inch Retina display, the Touch ID, a T2 security chip and a new butterfly keyboard with a larger trackpad. Moreover, the new MacBook Air also possesses 100 per cent recycled aluminium features, meaning it has become the greenest Mac ever developed. The machine is powered by an 8th-generation Intel Core i5 processor and gives better battery life for up to 12 hours. The new MacBook Air starts at $1199.
New Mac Mini
Apple hasn’t forgotten about its Mac Mini, the smallest and least expensive Mac offering by Apple with a design that’s just 1.4 inches in height. The new Mac Mini is all space grey, and has powerful configurations. Mac Mini features the latest 8th-generation quad-core or six-core Intel Core processor with up to 64GB memory, up to 2TB of SSD storage, and four Thunderbolt 3 ports. The new Mac Mini is designed to breeze through tasks like video editing, music creation, and software development. Starts at $799.
Other Announcements
Besides the new hardware, Apple also made several announcements for software and services. Perhaps most notably, iOS 12.1 is now available for download, with Group FaceTime, dual SIM support, and over 70 new emojis taking centre stage. Apple further said it would carry out free repairs on some iPhone X and MacBook Pro models, which had problems with the display and keyboard. In conclusion, Apple has announced it will donate $1 to (RED) for every purchase made with Apple Pay in an Apple Store, on Apple.com or within the Apple Store app from November 1 through December 2.
